Colourpop Just a Tint!

Finally got to try these! Usually I buy things I’m interested in from Colourpop right away, but now I’m trying to wait. Since the hype has kinda gone down, I found myself still interested and grabbed one to try out! It’s definitely a better way if buying things lol.

7EC4E663-31BE-4E04-816C-DCC25776620A

The Colourpop Just a Tint Lip Crayons ($7) are hydrating lip tints with a balmy feel and a slight gloss. Nice and comfortable for this dry dry winter! I picked mine up from Ulta when it was 30% off, but they’re actually all on sale right now for Black Friday/Cyber Monday! Basically this is a standard lip crayon, and the packaging is just like the Clinique Chubby Sticks.

050D438D-3B36-4438-B8C7-D91BF95229A89803EA27-42AD-4073-A829-A4AC80D64AC8

You get 2.1g of product which isn’t bad, and the packaging correlates to the lip shade, which is nice! Only thing is that the cap seems like it’s not the most secure, which worries me a little.

871FE4B1-AE5B-4889-9727-A82E2BD8478A

The shade I bought is Gimme S’more, which is described as a “sheer nudey pink.” This seemed to have been the most popular shade so I figured you can’t go wrong! Just seems like a high pink when swatched and there’s actually more pigment than the Clinique ones. Also a little less glossy than I thought, which I am totally fine with. Also worth mentioning that these smell like passion fruit, which I really like!

977F0EE7-A876-482B-A91D-4DB2FBCDB38C

Here it is on my lips! Ignore my pimple… It’s a lighter than my natural lip color but makes for a nice MLBB/no makeup shade. This is a really comfortable formula with a semi-sheer amount of pigment and a balmy shine. I kinda forgot I had this on lol. Since this is basically a tinted balm, it doesn’t last long at all but doesn’t leave a stain so reapplication is easy. I think this is really nice for everyday and for real dry lips like mine since it feels so nice and doesn’t emphasize flakes. A new hippie favorite!

I have been using this soooo much and placed an order for more! These are really great and I definitely recommend them. The colors that they made are also really pretty. If you’re interested you can find them all on Colourpop’s website and a (very few) amount of shades on Ulta. There’s a sale right now, go get some!!! But that’s it for today, I’ll see you next time ~

Project Pan – October 2019!

September was a relatively warm month, but it really dropped towards the end of October! My room is so cold lol. I’ve been working a lot and I’m also transitioning my garden, hopefully I’ll be able to grow some cold weather vegetables! Aside from that, I got some empties for this month!! Also sorry this is so late, I also can’t add links this month, wordpress has been working very poorly this month 😦 but I will eventually if I can!

91D0B79B-8C4B-4022-A0C0-733AF0BFE823

First off are skincare empties! Got a lot of period acne this time around 😦

  • CosRx Pimple Patches – The ol’ reliable! I really need to order more, I go through them too fast.
  • Caudelie eye cream (sample) – This was okay but nothing much, and it is expensive!!! I actually have several samples of this and I am never buying a full size lol.
  • Glow Recipe Watermelon Mask (sample) – I always get minis of Glow Recipe when I can, and I actually do enjoy it the more I use it! It’s still too expensive to warrant a full purchase.
  • Belif Aqua Bomb (sample) – Same as above! I really do love this though, and I am considering just getting a full size next time.
  • The Ordinary Alpha Arbutin 2% + HA – I don’t know if this really helped with brightening, but I liked how it felt and it was moisturizing! I probably would purchase again.

8F7E0E0A-9203-477F-BE0A-03A9CA80314F

I have more makeup than skincare empties this time! That’s a first for me 🙂

  • Colourpop Hello Kitty shadow – This was old old old, and not even Inglot Duraline could save it 😦 It’s a fairly basic color I won’t miss, and honestly I have other shadows to move on to.
  • Marc Jacobs Highliner in Ro(cocoa) – Really good formula, but waaaay too expensive! I can easily find a cheaper alternative that works just as well.
  • Dejavu Fiberwig Mascara – Very disappointed by this 😦 Super heavy and wet, so it clumped all my lashes and drooped them down. Also was a mess to work with, so I’m happy to see it go!
  • Milk Makeup Ubame Mascara (sample) – This isn’t pictured because I accidentally threw it out lol (still counts!!!). It was lightweight and held up curl with a primer, but that was about it. Do they even make this still?
  • Maybelline The Falsies Push-Up Angel – This was okay but I like other Maybelline mascaras more. I think it was the brush, but the lashes at the ends of my eyes always got gunked up with product. I am surprised they still held the curl though!
  • Mac Prep + Prime Skin Base (sample) – I liked how hydrating this was and it made my skin look nice n healthy. Definitely pleasantly surprised!

58B181CE-4F90-4B10-A754-5E8FACFE5E81

Since my microblading has faded a bit, I’m using more product to fill my brows in. I mainly use this Maybelline Total Temptation brow pencil, which is the perfect shade! But if I’m real lazy, I’ll just fill them in with Clinique brow powder.

DD56736F-9B70-4D6D-9CFD-6053E99FB7A0

Shadow base is still Too Faced Shadow Insurance. There’s some larger dents in all shades but the coral in the Etude House quad, but most in the lightest shade. I  really like using that to set my primer now! And I hit pan in this Smashbox single!!! I almost screamed at work lol. Since this is more of a full size than a sample, I feel v accomplished!!

7D8CCABF-367A-4682-B7A5-9E528CB44C7F

I started using this brown ELF eyeliner I got for real cheap and I hate it. It is the driest thing ever and drags along my lash line, and I bought two 😦 Liquid is still MacQueen and at least that’s both cheap and good quality. And mascara is the Maybelline Volum’ Express The Colossal Big Shot Waterproof mascara. So far it’s good, but I did have high expectations since it’s pretty popular.

AEF88FE6-134C-4062-8224-76B650CB4055

I started using the MAC Prep + Prime Natural Radiance primer and it works great, but I hate the smell. And I’m now color correcting with the Ohii Wake Up Pen in Peach, but it does nothing. Good thing it was on sale! I’m running low on both my Colourpop No Filter Concealer and AmorePacific Sun Cushion, and I’m going to miss both! I’ll definitely repurchase the Colourpop. And I don’t use foundation often, but sometimes I’ll use some Missha Glow Cushion, which is now a good shade since it’s getting colder!

90E7EC5F-16B5-484C-BE93-4E4AFC6E2B59

Lots of cheek products! Haven’t used much of this Laura Geller Easy Illuminating Stick, but I use the Milk Lip + Cheek in Werk everyday. There’s still an endless amount of this Colourpop No Filter Loose Setting Powder in Banana, and you really don’t need much of it. But I am getting a larger dent in Benefit Hoola, and a bigger pan in Benefit Rockateur. Can’t wait to finish both! Since there’s so little left, I decided to bring in Canvas Taupe from & Other Stories, which was my go-to winter shade last year. There’s a significant dent, but I doubt I’ll be panning this anytime soon. I also have been using the Colourpop Hello Kitty Highlighter and Essence Pure Nude together and it’s really pretty! I’ll probably have the Essence highlighter forever.

DA0BA4C6-7EF0-4FEF-8AB2-BBC4CDFF679D

Needed new lip balm so I’m using the Skinfix mint one. Doesn’t feel soothing but I do like how it feels lol. I’ve been basically using just Colourpop’s Ultra Blotted Lip in Sleepy Eyes, and sometime Clinique Chubby Stick in Strawberry. Might just toss this Smashbox lipstick sample since I hate the color.

F329F7A9-E883-4EC3-A450-56FF3FE71494

On the weekends I’m still using the never-ending Urban Decay Primer Potion. Brows are still LA Colors Slim Shady brow pencil, and liquid liner is still the same from Miniso. This Clinique brown liner is soooo good! I’ll be sad to finish it 😦  And mascara is Tarte Tartist Lash Paint with my trusty Aritaum Real Lash Fixer, and so far I don’t like it. I stabbed my eye with it and I’m not over it, but it also weighs down my curl even with primer.

89543294-A584-4275-B212-859E93E5AB5D

I am running low on my Biore UV Aqua and I think it’s time to branch out on sunscreen! Primer is still this mini Milk HydroGrip Primer and I like it less and less each time. It keeps balling up!!!!!! Still using the Innisfree color corrector and ELF 16Hr Camo Concealer, and both have been good! I learned that less is definitely more with the concealer. And my Canmake Marshmallow Powder broke again, so I’ll have to fix that 😦

4D02F8E5-2810-4BAE-8B58-B4DE7F491F80

Last is cheek products! I’ve been mixing all three contour shades in my ABH Contour Palette in Light. There’s also been less and less in the shading side of my Etude House Play 101 Stick. Same with my Colourpop Wisp, it’s a really nice base for any highlighter or by itself! But since it’s winter, I’ve been using more cream products, so I’ve been mixing both of the Glossier Haloscope highlighters just to try to use them up. They’re really underwhelming lol, so I use a powder highlight on top. And last is Fenty Beauty’s Mean Money/Hustla Baby, and I have been using Mean Money more! Great for nose and brow bone highlighting!

And that was October! Sorry for being so late, hopefully WordPress will want to work with me. I can’t even resize my pictures 😦 But it’s almost Thanksgiving and I’m gonna focus on having a great time, and I hope you do too! Let me know what you’re panning and I’ll see you next time ~

Sleek Highlighting Palettes

I’m FINALLY trying these!!! I got them when Ulta had a sale and these were 50% off! These have been around for years and the hype around them is still around, even tho it’s died down over time.

8FBCB21A-CA02-46A1-8AA0-C9558E933D81

For some reason I thought these would be really tiny but they’re around palm-sized! The gold chrome packaging looks super nice and it feels like sturdy plastic, but so many fingerprints.

AD14E351-7A9D-4301-BDDD-7B27A1FCAC3E

First off is the Solstice palette ($15) which is the most popular one! There’s three powder highlights and one cream, and they’re mostly neutral-cool. There’s also a not soft brush, which is just meh.

BEFFE02B-5578-4C58-835F-6E1EF1C7804D

The cream is the darkest out of the four, but it’s nice and subtle! It works well on its own or as a base, so idk why people don’t really like that shade! It’s definitely not balm-like or greasy, it’s got a little firmness but not too hard. The other three highlighters are really bright and shimmery, and there’s a little chunkiness. They kinda look the same, and they’re all a little pale on me. But the formula is pretty good, but maybe for paler skin.

ABE3402D-D437-4D06-BA8E-E87D4479BF57

The Cleopatra’s Kiss palette ($15) is warmer and has two creams and two powders! These are colours I gravitate more towards, and I was definitely more excited about thsi palette.

76D49BDA-C0A2-4A82-8620-9C1EEA8BDB8D

These colours are more up my alley! The formula is about the same as the Solstice palette, but the bottom right shade is really no good. Very sheer and just glitter! But the other three are really nice and I feel that this palette compliments my skin the best!

These palettes are pretty good for drugstore, but they definitely aren’t the best. I think Wet n Wild and Colourpop Super Shock highlighters are still the best, and those are what you should put your money towards! But if you are interested, I’ve only found these at Ulta since Sleek is a UK brand. I’m still interested in trying more drugstore items and I need to stray away from the same brands, so please recommend me some products to try! That’s it for now, take care and I’ll see you next time~

Project Pan – September 2019!

September was honestly hell. And so is October!!!! But I’m still going along, and I’m not letting anyone bring me down bc I’m tired!!!! Lol anyways, I did get a lot of progress on my project pan! Doing makeup really fast at work kinda makes me heavy handed with things, but at least I have my face on.

702E3E1C-C24C-4DD3-8BF2-669310933A99

I used up some good skincare plus one bad.

  • Herbivore Cloud Cream – This sucked! It burned my face every time so I used it on my legs. I haven’t liked a single thing I tried from Herbivore, and I’m giving up on this brand.
  • Laneige Water Sleeping Mask (mini) – This was really good! I’ve always used up and loved samples of this, and a friend gifted me the full size! It’s going to take forever to use up since a little goes a long way.
  • Belif Moisturizing Bomb (mini) – Also really nice! It’s soothing but lightweight, and I find that Belif’s products work well with my skin. It’s a little too pricy to repurchase, but I have my eye out for more samples.
  • Klairs Midnight Blue Concentrate – My second bottle! I love this line since they are really soothing, and I’ll definitely repurchase again in the future.
  • Glow Recipe Watermelon Moisturizer – Pretty good for summer, but also expensive and I like Belif more.

7D10F369-19A6-40FF-9EE6-36B4ED20E6AB

Most makeup pans happen at work lol. But it does help that I don’t have the time to switch things up! Hoping to get more shadows used up that way.

FCD93644-CE34-4B0D-92AB-E493B6CFD4B5

Since there’s more auctions, I’m doing my brows more. I didn’t touch brow get at all, but I’ve been enjoying using the Maybelline brow pencil or the Clinique brow powder for a softer look. Both are really easy and not messy like gel can be!

116D55AC-BE89-4B76-A615-344DF6EE2A54

Shadow is still really simple. I’m now using a mini Too Faced Shadow Insurance, and I use the light shade in the Etude House quad to set my eyes. I always use the Smashbox shadow as a single lid shade, but sometimes I’ll use the bronzey shade in the quad as well. The coral in this quad is also a nice blush!

BEABB3F1-9937-4FDE-96FD-C6C8F996AB82

I only have the tiniest bit of this Marc Jacobs liner and the MacQueen liquid liner is starting to dry out! I also have one more month of this Maybelline Falsies Push-Up Angel and I’m liking the brush less. It’s clumping up my lashes more.

6E91FD7C-B9A5-4DB9-AEA1-2DA8E6D659EE

The AmorePacific sun cushion is also drying out, but I have plenty left of the Missha Glow Cushion! Primer is Mac Prep + Prime, and there’s only a little bit left. Also not much left in the Colourpop concealer!

00886382-EDD8-4F5F-98A9-86D6DF7D23A0

I’ve still got a loooot of Colourpop powder and a little goes a long way. But this Colourpop shadow has kinda hardened and it’s difficult to use, so I might declutter and just use the Benefit Hoola. I’m happy that I finally wore off the logo, hopefully more progress soon!

B48E81A6-667B-4FD9-8C73-144E900CDE56

There’s a little nib of the Milk Makeup Lip + Cheek, and just the edges of Benefit Rockateur. I’m hoping both finish at the same time and I can switch to new blushes! I’m still alternating between the Laura Geller stick, Colourpop Super Shock and the Essence Pure Nude, but using mostly the Colourpop since it’s quick and easy. Maybe I should switch to solely using that.

A588E35A-FC8E-4A7E-AFC7-58F04C8DB46C

And for lips I’m using a lot of Colourpop’s Ultra Blotted Lip (forgot the shade lol) and the Clinique Chubby Stick in Strawberry! I don’t like the shade of the Smashbox sample, so I might just toss it…

F11E58E5-22E1-4472-BBAA-F4B6B3B4A971

Now for home makeup! I have a little bit of this LA Girl brow pencil but since I only use a bit, it’ll take a while. My mom gave me this brown Clinique liner from a gift with purchase and it’s super creamy! I’ve been enjoying it, but it’s not retractable. Mascara is still Dejavu Fiberwig and Milk Ubame with the Aritaum fixer, and I think it’s about time to switch. The Milk one is getting dry and the Dejavu is now kinda goopy, and I feel like I’ve been using these for months? I think they gotta go.

E8B2DD88-82EE-4093-A106-777A2FB03AAA

Sunscreen is Biore UV as always. I gave my other one to my sis so I can try other ones after this! Got a little bit of this mini Milk HydroGrip primer, but I have a lot of samples of this. So far I’m not getting the hype it has, but it’s a nice primer! Eye primer is still the same Urban Decay primer potion, which will last forever. And I have to squeeze more out of the Innisfree color corrector, so maybe it’s on its way out!

EFEC6DBF-9B22-4A2F-8E1D-EBA7AB2173D2

I left the Canmake concealer at my bf’s house by accident so it’s just been the Elf 16hr concealer and medium palette. Both are good, but I actually like the palette more! The darker shades are good for shading and the lighter ones match me perfectly. I scored it on sale for $1 and I’d definitely get it again!!!

09415D43-51D5-4DCA-AA67-F831FC9B6CF0

Powder is Canmake which is getting more and more broken. I can’t travel w this at all… Cream contour is the Etude House stick and I’m actually so sad there’s only a little left. But I’ve been using the lighter side as eye primer and it works pretty well. Powder bronzer is Too Faced Chocolate Soleil and it’ll probably take forever to finish lol.

7F20F238-7167-4C08-B4A6-E4FEB7B86BD7

I always change up my blush but I found that I really used a lot of this A’pieu blush stick. It’s really affordable and cute, and the quality is good! I’ve been alternating between Glossier Quartz and Colourpop Wisp for cream highlight, and I’m hoping to use up the stick bc it’s honestly nothing special. Powder also varies, but I have been using my Fenty duo the most! The left side is my favorite for nose highlighting.

A029EE8F-5991-412B-8E97-DD9F1DEF9713

Last is lips and I found that I had to scrape the sides of my Colourpop Ultra Blotted Lip in Zuma! It’s an amazing everyday shade that I hope they never discontinue. And I’ve been using more Fenty Gloss Bomb in Fenty Glow! It pairs really nice with Zuma and I like how it feels on the lips.

That was September! I honestly didn’t think I’d use this much lip product bc I have so many, but Colourpop’s Ultra Blotted Lips have been a go-to for me! I’m thinking of also doing favorites, but like occasional ones (maybe on my Instagram?). Fall is a super busy season at work, so I’m really sorry if I don’t post! Hopefully I’m able to manage my time more, but we’ll see. Thanks if you stuck with me, I’ll see you next time ~

ELF 16 Hr Camo Concealer!

Now that Tarte Shape Tape’s finally done, I got to try a new concealer! I actually jumped on this when Elf sent me a 50% off code + free shipping for closing their retail stores, which was kinda bittersweet 😦 But $2.50 for a concealer is a total steal! I heard a lot about this so I had pretty high hopes, especially since it was being compared to Tarte Shape Tape.

5F7419A8-0DE7-4EEE-B328-41003406F6C5

The ELF 16Hr Camo Concealer ($5) is the latest concealer from ELF and like most of their products, is a steal for $5! There’s 0.2 ounces of product, and the Tarte one has 0.33 ounces for $27, which is pretty expensive. Packaging is pretty basic, but I really don’t care when it comes to concealer lol.

A37469B1-7DB5-4A3D-9F78-527E603A7799C84E1556-82D8-40F8-8946-C0C619EE39DE

The doe foot is just like Tarte’s in that it’s pretty chunky. But the ELF one has a little more scoop, so it picks up more product! I usually use only the smallest bit of concealer, so this picks up too much but it’s around the same with the Tarte one (which also picked up too much for me).

D2805EDF-D411-47B2-9A31-0088E08DBEB6

The shade I got is Medium Beige, which is “medium with golden beige undertone.” It’s very yellow and almost a little peachy, which I think is good for my dark circles! I think it’s a little dark for me and probably a shade that’s more for summer lol.

6E10CD47-BEB5-4292-8C0C-51DB14D69DF18422A8F8-966D-4FE4-AD49-5557CF4BABB03246D919-8C1E-43F3-86E8-5B4FCC7F8CC1

Here’s a before and after! I have minimal circles apparently but I think they’re pretty bad. They’re more on the reddish purple side too. The concealer does feel full coverage and a little thicker than the Colourpop concealer, but thinner than Tarte. I think the colour helped to counteract my dark circles and it looked smooth under my eyes! It’s still a little thicker than the Colourpop and didn’t look as skin-like, but again it doesn’t have as much cakiness as the Tarte did for me. I did set this with the Colourpop loose banana powder, and I used a sponge to blend this out.

C9E4C17F-BD31-4BCE-A30D-3C09A915DCF8

Here’s after 10+ hours! So blurry… But it looks good! One problem I have with most concealers is that it kinda breaks apart/separates after a while, which is why I like how lightweight the Colourpop concealer is. But there’s really minimal amounts of that and I’m surprised that it held so well considering I HATED how the Shape Tape looked at the end of the day.

I think the ELF concealer is actually different from Tarte’s, but I like it better! It’s basically more lightweight and not as heavy, which works much better for me. Colourpop is still my #1, but this is a really close second. If you are interested in this, you can get this at Ulta or ELF’s site or any drugstore really. And it’s so affordable, you might as well try it the next time you’re out of concealer! That’s it for today, take care and I’ll see you next time!

Project Pan – August 2019!

Hello!!! It’s the end of September and FINALLY August Project Pan is here. These two months have been super busy, but I’ve learned a lot of new things especially at work! A lot of setbacks have happened so everyone got their hands full  but I believe I can definitely get through! Let’s get started though, I’ve got some good progress (for me)!

049F1F04-4ADA-4FC2-9793-088622A0A047

Empties are mostly skincare like usual, but I finished two eyeliners as well! I’ve been using a lot lately ~

2762C006-A300-4B5B-B085-6E0D47076391

At work I’m using more of the Maybelline brow pencil than the Essence brow gel, but I’ll use both when I need to look more professional. Only a little bit left in each!

42AF7B41-1C20-4C6F-9514-1DB5432B0FCF

I’m about done with this Bobbi Brown shadow stick and I’ve got bigger dents in this Smashbox shadow and the light shade in this Etude House quad! I’m thinking of focusing only on the single though since I can’t use up too much work time doing makeup lol.

4765AFF9-F8A4-4E88-B9FF-D33FC21D466C

I’m also quite low on this Marc Jacobs liner and I can feel the MacQueen liquid liner getting a little drier too, so it might be the end for both of these! The Maybelline Falsies Push Up Angel is good, but it’s easy to clump sometimes. Not sure if I’m a fan of the brush.

7F22A068-654E-4F45-8B9C-5CF08C75AAA9

This First Aid Beauty Primer doesn’t really do much but feels moisturizing! And I’m close to finishing my Colourpop concealer! There’s only a little bit at the very bottom. The Colourpop powder still has a long way to go, you really do get a lot of product in here!

10D065A4-ED92-4393-8C36-DD8918912BEB

I’m running low on the AmorePacific sun cushion and I’m thinking of cleaning it out afterwards and adding in sunscreen for a light touch up. But it was a good suncare product, I just wish there were darker shades! Same for this Missha Glow Cushion, but I honestly don’t wear foundation much.

756FF55D-7EF9-4DBD-A91E-A4A1FBF11224

Still using this old old Colourpop shadow to contour and I might just toss it. It’s gotten a little too hard… But this Benefit Hoola’s been used quite a bit and the logo’s almost gone. Maybe I should’ve saved this for winter when I’m paler.

1511079D-5C24-4BE2-BDBD-83E46E57DDBB

For blush I’ve only been using Milk’ Lip + Cheek in Werk and Benefit’s Rockateur. Nice everyday colours, but I’m hoping to use these up and switch to other colours soon! Also forgot to take a picture, but the Colourpop and Essence highlighters literally look the same. Oh well!

097D2440-3A17-45F9-AE0A-3AB5D2C9D31B

Lips are the same rosy shade, it’s mostly Colourpop’s Ultra Blotted Lip in Halo Effect and Clinique Chubby Stick in Super Strawberry. The Smashbox sample is a little too cool-toned to look good on me, but formula is nice.

6984FC34-F87A-4C2F-94BA-5058AC090CEF

At home I have more variety! Occasionally I use this LA Girl brow pencil and there’s a little left. Super affordable for good quality! Eyeliner is still the liquid Miniso one, but I need to get a new pencil liner. And I’m still using the Aritaum Real Lash Fixer with the Dejavu and Milk Ubame, but I’m getting tired of both lol. Eye primer is nothing new, the Urban Decay primer literally will last you forever.

18D18F34-F1B0-4AA0-ADF6-E687EF00A14F

Sunscreen is the good ol’ Biore UV Aqua! I should try other sunscreens too. I’ve got the tiniest bit of this Keep Cool spray, and it’s been really nice for both priming and setting! Still a good amount left in this Innisfree colour correcter, but I wanna try Nyx’s dark circle concealer next! And currently primer is MAC Prep + Prime, and it’s actually really nice!

79AEF176-EAF1-42B9-B8CB-A9501CED0C03

I have three concealers! Canmake concealer is really good for blemishes and undereyes, but the first shade is a little light. The Elf concealer palette in medium actually has two shades too dark for me, but I don’t mind! These are actually really creamy and good! And the ELF 16Hr is like a less dry Tarte Shape Tape, but idk if I really like these kind of concealers. I’ve been having concealer separate under my eyes and idk how to fix it.

B1F2A870-C245-42D3-90C8-97EAE2EBE894

Canmake Marshmallow Powder has been really smooth, but it’s fragile since Meatball broke it 😦 Contour is still the Etude House Play duo and the contour’s running out! Not sure what to do with the highlight shade. I’ve also been really liking TooFaced’s Chocolate Soleil! I really miss their old blushes tho… I vary blushes but highlighters are still Colourpop Wisp and the Fenty duo, and they’re both still favorites! I love golden and peachy highlights.

Last is a lip I’m running low on, Colourpop’s Ultra Blotted Lip in Zuma! A really pretty nude and I love this formula, but I’ve been scraping it a lot to get enough product each time. Time for a new everyday lip!

And that’s August! September’s Project Pan will be coming very soon lol. But I did use up a good amount, and I’m excited to switch out some things in my work makeup bag! Tune in for next month’s post soon~

Project Pan – July 2019!

Omg where has the time gone??? July was pretty free so I took advantage of it and went on vacation! But now August has been feeling like literal hell… so much at work and my cats not doing well. Thankfully he’s doing a lot better, but please keep Meatball in your thoughts!!!

Ive got two makeup, one skincare, and one haircare empty!

  • EVA NYC Mane Magic 10-in-1 Primer – I’ve been blow drying my hair more out of convenience and this heat protectant is great. I also feels like it helps my hair dry faster too and I haven’t seen any damage! It’s a little pricy so I bought seven bottles when they went on sale LOL
  • Banila Co. Clean It Zero – This was a really good cleansing balm but pricier than my cleansing oil and also not as effective with waterproof mascara. I like it but I’d go back to oil!
  • Heroine Make Long and Curl Advanced Film – Really good mascara (actually one of my favs)! I do like super waterproof more, but I’d definitely repurchase.
  • Tarte Bronzer – This was a little too light, actually too light when I get a tan lmao. I don’t think there was anything special honestly.

At work I use a mix between Clinique brow powder, Maybelline brow pencil, and Essence brow gel. All are great, but I think I use the powder the most! Since I only do my brows for auction, I probably won’t finish any soon.

I added this really old taupe Colourpop shadow just to use it, and I’m still using the same Smashbox sample and the Bobbi Brown eye stick sample. I sometimes use the Etude House quad, but not as much.

Almost out of this Aritaum liner and I’ll repurchase it soon! Super affordable and good quality. Same for the MacQueen liquid liner! For mascara, I’ve switched to the Maybelline Falsies Push-Up Angel waterproof and so far it’s good for length. It does clump a little though.

I’m still using the FAB primer, Colourpop concealer and banana powder, and AmorePacific mini sun cushion! All are great, but the cushion and concealer are now a bit too light for the summer. I look a little ghosty before bronzing…

Bronzer is a new Benefit Hoola, and there’s a larger dent in the Rockateur blush! Still using Milk’s mini Lip + Cheek in Werk, an old Colourpop highlighter, Laura Geller stick, and Essence Pure Nude! All are great for a natural look.

Home stuff hasn’t really changed, but I switched mascaras to Heroine Make Super Waterproof! It’s the best. Everything still has a while to finish.

F7C007AB-C415-4D7B-8ABF-C3B88A441D4E

Sunscreen and corrector are the same, but the Elf concealer is pretty good! I actually got a couple more concealers to test out, so that’s exciting!

E7CFFABF-D927-4D48-B9FD-249BA78F268A

Honestly nothing has changed but a bigger dent in the Colourpop highlighter and I’m now using the Canmake powder. I don’t think these will be finished for a while.

Almost out of this Keep Calm mist and it was good. Not sure if I’d repurchase.

That was July! Not much done but I didn’t feel like repeating all the time lol. I will be trying more things out tho, so keep an eye out for that! And thanks if you’ve stuck around this long, I haven’t been able to make time for much things but I will try harder! That’s it for now, take care and I’ll see you next time~

Mini Makeup Reviews: Milk Ubame Mascara

When Milk first came out I was pretty unimpressed with what they were offering. Nowadays, it’s still not my favorite brand but I own a couple products from them that are pretty good! I recently got a sample of their very first mascara and I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to try it.

The Milk Ubame Mascara ($24) comes in a squeezy tube form with a weird three-ball brush, which I’m not sure what benefit that gives. It claims to be a natural formula with lots of volume and durability. I think maybe it’d be good for lower lashes, but idk it seems like it’d be messy.

Before and after! Since this isn’t waterproof, I used a coat of Aritaum’s lash fixer before adding two coats of mascara. I saw no volume at all and very little length. It didn’t clump like I thought it would, but if anything this is a very natural mascara that darkens the lashes.

This is after a couple hours and it looks around the same! There’s a little smudging but no flaking, and I tend to have a lot of mascaras flake on me, even if they’re waterproof. I’m just too oily…

  • Hold curl? YES
  • Length? SORTA
  • Volume? NO
  • Clump? NO
  • Lasts? YES
  • Smudges? SORTA
  • Flakes? NO
  • Nice wand? SORTA
  • Would I recommend? NO

This is probably a mascara for the natural “Glossier” girl and for $24 I wouldn’t recommend this. Why spend so much for a really minimal finish? As an ugly person I don’t really understand lol. But if you’re interested in these kinda mascaras, you can find them at Milk and Sephora! That’s it for this mini review, take care and I’ll see you next time~
